Date Night in Las Vegas: My Favorite Places to Go

Bryce and I have been married for a little over a year now, and we try to go on a date night a few times a month! (I’ll let you know how that works out when the baby gets here in a few weeks!) When most people think of Vegas, they probably picture flashy restaurants and clubs like those on the Strip - but for us locals, living in Vegas looks a lot different. So, I figured I’d put together a list of some of my favorite spots to go for a date night in Las Vegas! I hope this can give you a few new ideas for your next date night!

Las Vegas Date Night Restaurants

Personally, we’re not huge fans of going to the Strip, so we usually stick to restaurants off the Strip. A few of our favorites for date night restaurants here in Vegas are:

Echo and Rig

For special occasions, Echo and Rig is always our go to! It’s a steakhouse in Tivoli (in Summerlin, on the west side of town) and what’s cool is that they also have a butcher in the restaurant where you can buy meat, too. Their steaks are AMAZING (all of their food is!), the ambiance is so nice, and the best part is, they’re about half the price of the other big steakhouses in Las Vegas. If you haven’t been, 1000% recommend!

North Italia

North Italia hasn’t been open here for very long, but is definitely a locals favorite. It’s also in Summerlin - in Boca Park - and has a beautiful outdoor area to relax in when the weather is nice! All of their pasta and pizzas are handmade, and you can definitely taste it. So good.

Honey Salt

Honey Salt is definitely a favorite for Las Vegas date night restaurants! It’s just a few doors down from North Italia in Boca Park, and has a great patio space, too. Their menu is all farm to table, and they always use seasonal ingredients, so you can always go back to try new things!

Cheecho’s Fajitas and Cantina

This restaurant just opened by us a few months ago, and is already our favorite Mexican place in Vegas! We love their fajitas and nachos, but everything we’ve tried there is amazing. Their prices are affordable (especially if you go during happy hour), which is always nice, too!

Block 9 Thai Street Eats

Back when Bryce and I worked together and before we were dating, we used to go to Block 9 all the time for lunch together. Now it’s one of our favorite date night restaurants in town! It’s more casual than the other places on this list, but the food is amazing (Bryce loves their yellow curry and I always get their potstickers and beef jerky). The owners are also the same people who own Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen (another great, slightly more upscale Thai place in Vegas)!

Public School 702

Public School is a bar and restaurant in Downtown Summerlin. All of their food and drinks are super unique, and it’s a great place to go out with friends to try something new. We love sitting out on the patio, and they have a bunch of games you can play while you hang out.

Hearthstone Kitchen and Cellar

Hearthstone is in Red Rock Resort. They serve a lot of rustic comfort food (think pastas, burgers and sandwiches, things like that) but they only use high-quality ingredients and put their own spin on everything they make. They also have brunch on the weekends!

As far as Las Vegas date night restaurants go, these are definitely our top picks! What are your favorite date night spots in Vegas?
