Christmas Light Shows in Idaho Falls - 2021
I don’t know about you guys, but one of my favorite parts about the holidays is driving around looking at Christmas lights! Every year, my family and I have a tradition to put on our Christmas pajamas, go get hot chocolate, and drive around looking at all the different Christmas light shows. Whether it’s in a neighborhood or an official Christmas light show, there’s plenty here in Idaho Falls! I’ve gathered up a list of some of the best Christmas light shows here in Idaho Falls for 2021 - check them out below, and let me know which is your favorite!
Ammon Lightapalooza 2021
December 4th at 6 pm
The annual Ammon Lightapalooza will be held Saturday, December 4th at 6 pm! Enjoy a parade, Santa’s village (with cookies, cocoa, and Santa himself!), and fireworks at McCowin Park after the parade! The parade will begin at Eagle Drive and Sunnyside Road.
Lakeside Lodge - Lighting of the Lodge
December 4th at 1 pm
Drive up to Island Park to see Lakeside Lodge’s Lighting of the Lodge! Starting at 1 pm, there will be free chili and sleigh rides with a donation item for the Island Park Food Bank or Toys for Tots! At 6 pm, watch the lodge light up their Christmas display, and then visit with Santa, watch fireworks, and listen to live music at 7 pm!
Owens Family Lights
November 26 - December 31
Every year the Owens family puts up an amazing Christmas light display at their home in Idaho Falls! This year’s theme is “A Christmas Fantasy.” They’re using over 130,000 lights and nine songs to go along with it! It’s a 30-minute show every day from 5 to 10 pm, November 26 through December 31. Aspen Grove Inn Christmas Lights
Check out Aspen Grove Inn’s drive through Christmas light display. They’re located near Heise Hot Springs and Mountain River Ranch in Rigby.
Firth Family Christmas Lights
Check out the Firth family’s Christmas lights at their home in Rigby! Tune your radio to 95.3 FM to listen to music for the show! They’re located at 3963 E 160 N.
