Easter Events Around Idaho Falls

Can you believe it’s almost April already? Wasn’t it just New Year’s?!

Spring is just about here, and I’m so excited for it! The weather is starting to warm up and the days are getting longer. My family has been loving going for walks around our neighborhood and eating lunch at the park again! I love winter, but I’m ready for spring to be here.

I know we’re still a few weeks away, but I thought I’d put together a list of some fun Easter events going on around Idaho Falls so you can start planning! Check them out below!

Easter Egg Eggstravaganza in Historic Downtown Pocatello

Saturday, April 9 from 11 am - 2 pm

Head to historic downtown Pocatello the weekend before Easter for their Easter Egg Eggstravaganza! Vendors downtown give out filled Easter eggs starting at 11 am. You can walk downtown through the shops and restaurants, and stop at Station Square (200 S. Main Street) for a free photo with the Easter Bunny from 11 am to 2 pm.

Easter Bunny Hop ‘n Shop

Saturday, April 16 at 10 am

This is a free community event at Franklin Middle School in Pocatello! Kids can meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and see animals at the petting zoo. There will also be games, music, and local businesses set up!

The Great Easter Egg Hunt at Snake River Landing

Saturday, April 16th at 10 am

This is one of the biggest Easter egg hunts in Eastern Idaho, located at the Waterfront at Snake River Landing! It’s divided into a few different age groups for kids, and includes over 25,000 eggs, tons of prizes, large egg hunting zones, and free photos with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Egg Hunt at Jensen Grove Park

Saturday, April 16 from 10-11:30 am

The greater Blackfoot area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Easter egg hunt in Jensen Grove Park in Blackfoot! It starts at 10 am, and gots until 11:30 am.

Where is the Easter Bunny?

Saturday, April 16 from 12-3 pm

The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation puts this on for kids to find all of the bunnies hidden in shops downtown! It starts at Civitan Plaza(at the corner of B Street and Park Avenue). You’ll get a map, and once you’ve found all the hidden bunnies, you can go to Weebee Toys downtown to choose a prize and meet the Easter Bunny!

Five Course Easter Brunch at Diablas Kitchen

Sunday, April 17 from 12-3 pm

Diablas Kitchen always hosts the best holiday events! Doors open at 12 pm on Easter Sunday, and the first course will be served at 12:30 pm.
